The Friends of Anderson Park is currently accepting entries for its fourth annual Anderson Park Short Story contest. The entry deadline is Feb. 13.

Montclair students from the sixth through eighth grades are eligible to enter. Public, private and home-schooled students are eligible.

The contest is judged by a panel of professional authors who live in Montclair. The stories may be any genre of fiction, but Anderson Park must be incorporated into the story in some way. The length should be 500 to 2,500 words.

Winners will receive $100 each and their stories will be read at a gathering at Watchung Booksellers. The gathering will also be televised through TV34. The winner stories will also be posted on
