Wednesday, May 6—A 38-year-old Fairfield man was taken into custody on Bloomfield Avenue for outstanding warrants issued by Montclair, North Caldwell, and Roseland.

Saturday, May 9—A 35-year-old Montclair man was charged with possession of marijuana on Maple Avenue.

Saturday, May 9— A 17-year-old female Montclair resident was charged with possession of marijuana on Mid-Park Lane.

Saturday, May 9—A 46-year-old Passaic resident was charged with driving while intoxicated on Bellevue Avenue.

Monday, May 11—A 24-year-old Mount Arlington man was charged with shoplifting merchandise from the CVS on Valley Road. 

Burglary

Thursday, May 7—Police responded to a report of a burglary at the basement of a New Street residence. The complainant reported that two mountain bikes, valued at a total of $1,000, were stolen from the residence. 

Thefts

Friday, May 8—Police responded to a report of an attempted theft from a motor vehicle at approximately 8 a.m. on Princeton Place. The complainant reported that he was inside his residence when he saw two males approach his wife’s vehicle. The complainant chased them away after observing one of them open the driver’s side door to the vehicle. The suspects were last seen fleeing south on Princeton Place and then east on Godfrey Road in a silver BMW.

Friday, May 8—A motor vehicle owner reported that an undetermined amount of money was stolen from her vehicle on Edgemont Road.

Saturday, May 9—An Undercliff Road resident reported that his motor vehicle was stolen from his driveway. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the key fob inside prior to the theft.
