Photos: School community examines the school to prison pipeline
About 30 members of the educational community join the Montclair NAACP Youth Council to raise awareness about the school-to-prison pipeline, with a discussion led by Council president Genesis Whitlock, a student at Montclair High School. The group hashes out suggestions to deal with core issues at the local level after reviewing statistics in a brainstorming session and discussions at the Wally Choice Community Center on Sunday, Feb. 16.
