A mostly middle-aged and senior crowd, racially mixed, with some youths, turned out in the cold and drizzling rain, messaged protestor Claudia Sherwood, “I felt a respect and dedication to the democratic process from the crowd.”

Sherwood describes the signs, ” Do this 4 our children,” and crowd chants of “This is what democracy looks like,” answered with thumbs ups and horn honks from passing vehicles, as a pedestrian across the street waved a Trump flag peacefully

The BlueWaveNJ.org called for the event,as well as other groups, to join hundreds of other nationwide, in ‘rapid response “Nobody Is Above the Law” demonstrations across the country,’ on the eve of the vote.
