Dolores Bobby Reilly is honored with a Proclamation for her service to the township, and Mama Yaa leads the traditional Kwanzaa libation ceremony at the Ancestral Table, the lighting of the Mishumaa Saba (Seven Candles), and the reading of the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles).

After the ceremonies and performances, the Karamu (Feast) of traditional African-American and African dishes was served.
