BURGLARY/THEFT

Tuesday, March 12—Theft of a Chevy Silverado work truck on Eagle Rock Way. The truck was last seen parked in the street outside a residence. The vehicle was recovered in Hillside later that day.
Friday, March 15—Theft of a purse from a patron who was dining in Cuban Pete’s, 428 Bloomfield Ave.
Friday, March 15—Burglary to a garden shed on Lincoln Street. A padlock was damaged to gain access. Nothing was reported missing.
Saturday, March 16—Theft of a patio set from the front porch of a South Willow Street residence.

Saturday, March 16—Theft of two cellphones at Faraj Enterprise, 346 Bloomfield Ave. The phones were at the store for repair.
Saturday, March 16—Attempted theft of an unsecured bicycle on Gordonhurst Avenue. Two juveniles were observed attempting to steal the bicycle, but when alerted, fled the area on foot.
Sunday, March 17—Theft of an unattended cellphone at Christ Church, 68 Church St.
Monday, March 18—Theft of two bicycles from the rear yard of a Mission Street residence.
Tuesday, March 19—Two parked vehicles were rummaged through, and a pair of Apple EarPods taken on Watchung Avenue.
Tuesday, March 19—Theft of an EZPass transponder from a parked vehicle on Morningside Avenue.

ARRESTS

Tuesday, March 12—A 21-year-old man from Montclair, was arrested on New Street for an open warrant out of Kansas.
Thursday, March 14—A 30-year-old man from Newark, was arrested on Bloomfield Avenue and charged with DWI.
Friday, March 15—A 27-year-old man from Bloomfield, was arrested on Bloomfield Avenue and charged with DWI.
