Approximately 200 people showed up for the end-of-summer Crane Park Monarch Butterfly release on Sept. 15. About 300 butterflies were raised by Trina Paulus author of “Hope for the Flowers”. Children learned about the life cycle of the monarch — and how to protect their habitat.
