The Gallery at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties, 695 Bloomfield Ave., will host an exhibition of pastels by Clifton artist Michael Gabriele though March 1, with a gala reception on Thursday, Feb. 8, 7 to 9 p.m.
A longtime member of Studio Montclair Inc. and a 1975 graduate of Montclair State University, Gabriele has displayed his artwork — contemporary, representational landscapes and still lifes — at northern New Jersey galleries and museums for 30 years.
Since 2007 the George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University has selected his artwork five times for display in the prestigious “Art Connections” juried exhibit.The Thursday, Feb. 8 reception at the Montclair office is free and open to the public.
