Montclair resident Gargi Mukherjee has been invited back to present “Mrinal’s Letter” on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m., as part of the eighth annual United Solo Theatre Festival.

The festival, which runs through Nov. 19, takes place at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd St., New York City.

The play, which Mukherjee also translated and adapted for the stage, is based on a short story by Rabindranath Tagore, Indian poet, author, and Nobel Laureate in literature. Golam Sarwar Harun, also a Montclair resident, is technical director of the show.

Mukherjee is seen on a regular basis at the South Asian Theater Festival, held every year in New Brunswick. She has performed at NJPAC, the Edison Valley Playhouse, Queens Theatre in the Park (NY), Ramapo College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and the Forum Theatre in New Jersey.

Tickets for “Mrinal’s Letter” are available through Telecharge: http://unitedsolo.org/us/mrinalsletter-2017/ and at the Theatre Row box office.
