William K. Walsh, 75, of Montclair died on Oct. 18, 2017.

Mr. Walsh was predeceased by his parents Luke and Mary (McGowan) Walsh. He is survived by his brother Michael Walsh and sister Maureen Walsh Booth (Robert).

Mr. Walsh was a systems engineer for many years for Lucent in Basking Ridge. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 9, the Irish American Society of the Oranges, Montclair Knights of Columbus #1277, the West Orange Elks #1590 and The Giblin Association. William served as the Deputy Grand Marshal of the West Orange Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in 2007 and also served on the parade committee.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 22, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 23, at 9:30 a.m. funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 32 North Fullerton Ave.
