New Jersey native Anthony D’Amato plays the Outpost in the Burbs on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Ave.

The concert kicks off the Outpost’s 30th-anniversary season. This is D’Amato’s first time headlining at the Outpost. He will be performing in support of his most recent releases, “Cold Snap,” a studio album Rolling Stone called “folk music raised on New Jersey grit”; and “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” a new refugee charity EP recorded from Josh Ritter and Nickel Creek’s Sean Watkins. Lily Vakili will open.
