In Harmony Montclair will hold its seventh annual benefit show virtually on July 15 at 8 p.m. The show, including singing, dancing and other musical performances can be streamed from In Harmony Montclair’s YouTube channel.
The show will be streamed for free, but the event is a fundraiser for education nonprofit IMANI, which aims to close the achievement gap in Montclair Public Schools. Donations may be made on the event’s GoFundMe page.
“The pandemic resulted in a lot of stress and educational challenges this year and IMANI’s work is more important than ever,” founder and director of In Harmony Montclair Maggie Borgen said. “I hope the audience will enjoy the creativity of the participants for our virtual benefit concert.”
In Harmony Montclair has held summer fundraising concerts since 2015.
Montclair is seeking to raise $230,000 from donors, members and grantors between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 to put us on firm footing for 2022, and continue supporting the hard work of our journalists into the new year and beyond.
