Montclair held its annual Memorial Day tribute Monday, May 28, at Edgemont Park.

Mayor Robert Jackson was the master of ceremonies.

The Rev. Margo Walter, pastoral associate at Grace Presbyterian Church, performed the invocation and benediction and blessed the wreaths. Montclair High School a capella group Passing Notes sang the national anthem.

The township historian Michael Farrelly spoke reflecting on Montclair’s 150th anniversary.

Representatives from veterans organizations included the Crawford Crews American Legion Post 251, Lt. Vincent J. Russo American Legion Post 382, Disabled American Veterans, Daughters of the American Revolution Eagle Rock Chapter, as well as members of the Montclair Red Cross.

The Montclair Community Band performed.
